Many groups – as well as districts, area assemblies and intergroups -- periodically hold a "group inventory meeting" to evaluate how well they are fulfilling their primary purpose: to help alcoholics recover through A.A.’s suggested program of recovery.
Some groups take their inventory by examining A.A.'s Twelve Traditions, one at a time, to determine how well they are living up to these principles, others utilize the 12 Concepts for World Service.
In addition to the "12 Traditions Checklist" and the "12 Concepts Checklist" we have made available "How to Conduct a Sharing Session" which is additional service material from the General Service Office.
